JPMI is a peer-reviewed electronic journal. This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the Editorial Board, the peer-reviewer­­­­­ and the publisher (Universitas Pakuan). Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed JPMI is essential in developing a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It directly reflects the quality of the authors' work and the institutions that support them. It is therefore essential to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing:

  1. Author
  2. Journal Editor
  3. Peer reviewer
  4. Publisher
  5. The society of society-owned or sponsored journals.

Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Universitas Pakuan takes their duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing extremely seriously and we recognize our ethical and other responsibilities.

 

Allegations of Research Misconduct

Research misconduct means fabrication, falsification, citation manipulation, or plagiarism in producing, performing, or reviewing research, writing an article by authors, or reporting research results. When authors are found to have been involved with research misconduct or other serious irregularities involving articles published in scientific journals, Editors have a responsibility to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the scientific record.
