Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Inovasi (JPMI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or iThenticate, before entering the peer-review process.
JPMI adopts a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Manuscripts containing unattributed text, ideas, data, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected immediately.
Similarity Index Criteria
- Above 40%: Rejected due to excessive similarity.
- 21–40%: Returned to the authors for revision and resubmission.
- 20% or below: Eligible for peer review, subject to editorial evaluation.
Academic Integrity
Authors must properly acknowledge all sources through accurate citation and referencing. Direct quotations must be clearly identified and appropriately cited. Failure to comply with these ethical standards may result in manuscript rejection, withdrawal of acceptance, or retraction of a published article.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to take appropriate actions in cases of plagiarism or other violations of publication ethics.
